Founded by Mary Alverson, The REAL Pit Bull, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy for the American Pit Bull/Staffordshire Terrier. This organization was founded in 1997 and continues today to provide education and support to the public, dog trainers, shelters and rescues.
